Oliver’s Army win annual quiz
Thursday night saw our 3rd annual quiz take place in The County Room.
A good crowd of quiz goers were treated to a number of different rounds including a special video round which gave those present an exclusive look behind the scenes at The Club as the players took on the coaches in some special sporting challenges.
Special guest host Peter Trego was in fine form and treated the audience to a number of amusing stories regarding his time as a cricketer whilst also keeping the quiz teams in line!
After the 6 rounds the winners were Oliver’s Army (pictured) who achieved an impressive 41 points out of a potential 51. They won a day in the Long Room at an LV= County Championship match of their choice. Lunch and a bottle of wine will also be included. Following the match they will be given a tour of the Andrew Caddick Pavilion and meet with members of the squad.
Second place on the night went to There’s Only One Gale In Somerset who won a voucher for a 2 course matchday carvery.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who attended the event. Thank you for your continued support.
