Surrey NatWest T20 Blast match SOLD OUT
We can officially announce that our NatWest T20 Blast match against Surrey at the County Ground on June 12th is a complete sell out.
Tickets for our matches only went on sale in March and in addition to Surrey being sold out, there is only allocated seating available for our matches against Kent (May 31st), Hampshire (June 5th) and Gloucestershire (June 19th).
Head of Commercial Operations Jez Curwin said: “Our NatWest T20 Blast matches are always popular but this year the prospect of Chris Gayle taking on Kevin Pietersen and Kumar Sangakkara has proved to be extremely attractive! To have sold so many tickets at this stage of the year is very exciting.
“Although the development of the Somerset Pavilion has had a slight impact on our capacity for 2015 we will still be able to cater for the needs of those who will be attending the games. We announced recently that the Scoreboard Stand on the Priory Bridge Road side of the County Ground will become a Members only enclosure for the NatWest T20 Blast. This will mean that there will be more than enough seating for our Members. Adjustments have also been made to our match day planning in a bid to ensure that the optimum number of ticket holders can get in to the ground as well to enjoy the cricket with access to the facilities that they have come to expect.”
With tickets for our NatWest T20 Blast matches being snapped up quickly we are giving supporters the chance to ensure that they don’t miss out on the action at two of our games.
For the fixtures against Sussex (May 22nd) and Hampshire on (June 5th) we are giving you the chance to enjoy the match from the comfort of the County Room as part of a special package.
For just £50 you will watch the game from our superb County Room facility whilst being treated to an outstanding western style buffet.
For more information on this special offer or to book a place please contact Sam McIntyre on 01823 425323 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For Platinum Members and ticket holders planning to attend our NatWest T20 Blast matches please note that parking within the County Ground will be reduced this year due to the Somerset Pavilion construction. We will continue to provide a limited number of disabled parking spaces which can be booked from 2 weeks in advance through Reception as is in previous years (Tel: 0845 337 1875), but general match day parking will be very limited.
Outside of the ground it is important to note that the public car park in Priory Bridge Road is now closed for development. However, there is substantial public parking available on the market square which is now operated on a pay and display basis by a private operator. You are able to purchase an all-day ticket. Please note that the car park can only be accessed by vehicle through Canal Road but the Club will open a pedestrian route across the “blue bridge” to make it easier to get to the ground both before and after matches. There are of course a number of parking options available across the town centre.
