Update on Peter Trego’s Benefit Year!
We recently caught up with Benefit Committee Chairman Graham Masarik for an update on Pete Trego’s Benefit Year events.
“Maz” said that firstly he wished to thank Somerset members and fans for their terrific response in supporting all the Benefit events to date. These have included dinners in Weston-super-Mare, Minehead and Taunton, golf days at Weston-super-Mare and Minehead plus a cricket match in Newton Abbot.
In addition there have been four collections at the County Ground so far this season and each of these has been very well supported.
Last Sunday Pete very generously donated all of the collection to local cancer support Charity “Hope for Tomorrow”. The total amount collected on the day was £1068, for which Pete, the Benefit Committee and most of all “Hope for Tomorrow” express their sincere gratitude.
