Here is everything that you need to know about our NatWest T20 Blast match against Glamorgan at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

All ticket collections are from the Brian Rose Gate (marked “19” on our Ground Map) from 3:30pm.
Members and ticket holders may enter the Cooper Associates County Ground via the St James Street Gate (marked “18” on our Ground Map), the Priory Bridge Road Gate (marked “17” on our Ground Map) and the Brian Rose Gate (marked “19” on our Ground Map) from 3:30pm.
Our stewards will do their best to ensure that your entry to the Cooper Associates County Ground is as easy as possible. If you have any questions on the day, please don’t hesitate to ask. Please do consent if a bag check is required.
Allocated seating is in operation for the Somerset Stand, The Ondaatje Stands and the Upper Tier of the Somerset Pavilion.
The Colin Atkinson Pavilion, the Sir Ian Botham Stand, the Marcus Trescothick Stand and the Lower Tier of the new Somerset Pavilion are reserved for Somerset Members only. Platinum Plus Members have a reserved seat in the Marcus Trescothick Stand for this match. Your seat number is printed on the back of your Membership Card.
Spectators are not permitted to bring alcohol into the Cooper Associates County Ground for NatWest T20 Blast matches.
Somerset County Sports (marked “F” on our Ground Map) will be open throughout the match and is located near the Somerset Cricket Museum. You can visit their website here to check out a wide range of cricket equipment and replica kit.
Travelling to the Cooper Associates County Ground:
The Cooper Associates County Ground is located in the centre of Taunton with fantastic links to road and rail networks.
By Road: At Junction 25, take the A358 Exit to Taunton/ Yeovil. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit (south) or 3rd exit (north) onto the A358 heading to Taunton/ A38/ Minehead, continuing straight onto Toneway/ A358. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Priory Avenue and the Cooper Associates County Ground will be on your left. If you wish to plan your route our postcode is TA1 1JT.
Traffic signal refurbishment works are currently being carried out on Fore Street and East Street in Taunton which may cause some delays. For more information on current road closures within Taunton Deane please click here
By Rail: Taunton Train Station is a ten minute walk from the Cooper Associates County Ground. As you leave the Station, turn left into Station Road, heading towards the Town Centre. Turn left onto Priory Bridge Road, and the Cooper Associates County Ground will be on your right. Please click here for National Rail Enquires
Park & Ride:
We have once again teamed up with The Buses of Somerset and Somerset County Council to offer a Park and Ride facility for our NatWest T20 Blast matches.
In order to ensure that everyone can get to the match safely and in plenty of time, there will be a number of buses running on match days from the Taunton Gateway Park and Ride site near Ruishton. In a bid to help reduce traffic congestion this service will operate every 15 minutes at a cost of just £2.40 per person and will drop passengers at Taunton Parade (near the Market House). The return journey, which will run from Taunton Parade (near the Market House) back to Taunton Gateway, will operate every 10 minutes from 20:30 with a last bus at 21:20. Please note that this service is running from Taunton Gateway Park and Ride site near Ruishton only.
Parking at the Cooper Associates County Ground is very limited. Disabled and Long Room Members will be able to reserve parking for match days, subject to availability. For Car Parks in and around the Cooper Associates County Ground, please download the Taunton Car Parking Guide.
Information for Cyclists:
Somerset County Cricket Club is cyclist friendly with several cycle paths close to the Cooper Associates County Ground. On-site we also have bicycle racks situated near the Priory Bridge Road and St James Street Gates.
Scorecards are available from the kiosk outside the Andrew Caddick Pavilion, the Brian Rose Gate and Somerset County Sports at a cost of just £1.00.
Food & Drink:
The County Room (“L”) in the Colin Atkinson Pavilion (“8”) hosts the Members Bar (with local beers).
There will be a number of concession units available during the match including Outside Edge Refreshemnts (“J”) and the Fish & Chip Bar (“K”).
Stragglers Coffee House
The Stragglers Coffee House will be open to both Members and non members only on match days. The Stragglers Coffee House will not be open to the general public on match-days.
Somerset Cricket Museum
The Somerset Cricket Museum (marked as “G” on our Ground Map) will be open throughout the match. Entry is free for Members but a small donation is appreciated in order to help fund the upkeep of the museum.
I am disabled, is the Ground accessible to me?
Yes, our ground is fully accessible for all and we have designated seating areas, parking and facilities. For more information, please click here.
Where can I drink?
There are bars situated in various positions within the ground. They will be serving alcohol and soft drinks throughout the day at the Club’s discretion.
Where can I smoke?
Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking areas. This policy also applies to the use of electronic smoking devices.
Where can I use my phone?
All mobile devices should be set to silent within the ground and should not be used for making or receiving calls when play is in progress.
Where is the nearest cashpoint?
The nearest cashpoint is in the Morrisons Store on Priory Bridge Road.
Can I bring my Dog into the Ground?
Well behaved dogs which are kept on leads may be brought into the public stands at the Cooper Associates County Ground. Owners must accept full responsibility for looking after their dog(s) and dog fouling is prohibited. Only Guide/ Working Dogs are permitted into buildings or kiosks where food is served.
