What’s the weather like?
Can I take a Camera into the Ground?
Yes, we are happy for you to bring cameras into the ground as long as you do not use the photographs for commercial gain. If you do wish to use the photos commercially, you will require an official ECB or Somerset CCC Press Pass. Please contact Spencer Bishop on 01823 425316 for more details.
Can I bring alcohol into the Ground?
On LV=County Championship match days a small amount of alcohol (four cans or half a bottle of wine per person) is permitted into the County Ground. On YB40, FLt20 or Tourist Match Days, Alcohol will not be permitted into the Ground under any circumstances and a search for such items will take place on the entry to the County Ground. Any alcohol brought into the Ground will be confiscated and destroyed. Thank you in advance for your support.
Is there a non-alcohol Stand?
Yes, the Ondaatje Stand is our non-alcohol, family stand which is policed by our match day Stewards. Drinking or the use of foul language is prohibited within this section of the Ground and those who break this will be warned and if required, ejected from the area.
Can I bring food into the Ground?
Yes food may be brought into the Ground but can only be consumed in the stands and not in any of our facilities such as private boxes or the Colin Atkinson Pavilion. There are several food kiosks situated around the ground serving pies, pasty’s, burgers, chips and sandwiches as well as our match day carvery in the County Room on LV=CC, YB40 and weekend FLt20 matches.
How to I make a Complaint?

Getting to and around the County Ground
How do I get to the County Ground?
The County Ground is located in the heart of Taunton with excellent transport links by both road and rail. Our postcode is TA1 1JT and several council-operated car parks are situated nearby. For more information and to download a map of car parks in the area, please click here. Taunton Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the County Ground. Can I Park at the County Ground?
Unfortunately parking at the County Ground is limited and supporters are recommended to find alternative parking in Taunton. Somerset County Cricket Club has secured parking on the Firepool development site on Priory Bridge Road, accessed via the Old Market Street Car Park for Match days. How do I find my way around the Ground?
You can download a copy of our Ground Map on our website by clicking here. The Ground Map is also printed within your ticket wallet and fixture card and positioned around the Ground on larger scales.
Why is my bag searched on entry to the Ground?
In the interest of safety, Somerset County Cricket Club reserves the right to check and search all bags on entry to the County Ground. Items which are prohibited or seen as being dangerous to players or supporters will be confiscate and returned the owner at close of play. Bags must not be left unattended and we also reserve the right to perform on the spot checks on bags once you are in the Ground.
Do children need to be accompanied by an Adult?
All Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Children aged 14 and above can attend matches without an accompanying adult but Somerset County Cricket Club cannot accept any responsibility for them while they are in the Ground. Parents or Guardians should make Children aware of the Safety Staff (In Orange and Blue tabards) on match days as well as the location of the Reception in the Andrew Caddick Pavilion in case of an emergency.
Can I bring my Dog into the Ground?
Yes, well behaved dogs which are kept on leads may be brought into the public stands at the County Ground. Owners must accept full responsibility for looking after their dog(s) and dog fouling is prohibited. Only Guide/ Working Dogs are permitted into buildings or kiosks where food is served.
I am disabled, is the Ground Accessible to me?
Yes, our ground is fully accessible for all and we have designated seating areas, parking and facilities. For more information, please click here.
What is Membership of Somerset County Cricket Club?
Membership is a season ticket valid for the year which will entitle you to attend matches at Taunton dependent on the Category you purchased. Somerset County Cricket Club is a members Club and therefore the support of our members is much appreciated. Full details on membership, the benefits and categories can be found by clicking here.
How do I become a Member?
Membership can be purchased online by clicking here, by calling 0845 337 1875, or by popping into the Reception of the Andrew Caddick Pavilion during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm.
What are the Members Facilities?
Members have exclusive use of the Marcus Trescothick Stand (unreserved seating), the Sir Ian Botham Stand and the Colin Atkinson Pavilion. The County Room bar and Carvery is also open to Members only.
Can I take a guest into the Members Areas?
Members are given two free guest tickets for use on LV=CC Matches. Once these have been used, Members can sign guests into the Members areas via Reception in the Andrew Caddick Pavilion. Unfortunately non-members are not permitted into the Members areas on YB40, FLt20 or Tourist matches due to limited seating capacities.
Are there any reciprocal agreements for members of other Counties?
Members of the opposition county are required to purchase a ground entry ticket to the game and during LV=CC will be allowed entry into the Members facilities on production of their respective county membership card. Unfortunately there are no reciprocal arrangements for YB40 or FLt20 fixtures.

Can I buy a Long Room Membership?
Championship Long Room Membership is available at £300 + VAT. Unfortunately the Platinum Long Room category is fully booked but a reserve list is in operation, please contact Sam McIntyre on 01823 425323 to be added to the list.
What are the benefits of being a Long Room Member?
The Long Room is an exclusive facility with your own bar, menu and catering team to meet your needs. Numbers are limited so you will never feel overcrowded and there is also the opportunity to reserve parking within the Ground. Long Room members also have priority booking on Club events such as the End of Season Dinner and obviously, the Long Room Lunch pre-season.
What is the Dress Code for the Long Room?
To be in keeping with your surrounds, members are requested to dress smart-casual with no bear torsos, flip flops or inappropriate clothing.

What is the current team selection?
The squad for each fixture is released the day before the game and will be confirmed on the morning of the game. The squad information will be posted on our news section of the website. What are the seating options?
Tickets can either be purchased as ground admission and you choose your seats when you arrive or allocated seating either our Somerset Stand or Ondaatje (Family/ Alcohol-Free) Stand.
Why do you charge an admin fee?
The admin fee charged on tickets covers our costs on printing, card charges and time for processing your order. The easiest method of purchasing tickets is online and then choosing the Print at Home option which is then free of admin charges.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets are sent within 72 hours of being purchased if the postal option was selected when buying online or over the telephone.
Can I collect my tickets on the day of the match?
Tickets purchased fewer than three days prior to the event will be available for collection at the ticket office on the Brewhouse Gate. In order to pick up your tickets, you will be required to produce: The full name and postcode used to purchase the tickets. Please be aware that the Ticket Office Collection hours are available no earlier than 2 hours prior to the start of play on a one day or tourist match, and 1 hour prior to the start of play on an LV=CC Match.
I chose Print at Home but have not received an email or my tickets won’t print?
If you choose the print at home option, your tickets are sent to you as a PDF which you can download. The email is sent within 24 hours of payment being processed. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder before calling the ticket office on 0845 337 1875. If you cannot print your tickets please call the ticket office 48 hours before the match date to make alternative arrangements. The confirmation email will not gain you entry to the Ground.
What should I do if I need a duplicate ticket or if I want to upgrade a junior ticket?
On receipt of your tickets please check that all details are correct. Should your tickets be lost or stolen and duplicate tickets are requested please contact the ticket office to arrange duplicates. Please note duplicate tickets are issued at the ticket offices discretion and will only be issued to the original purchaser. If you wish to upgrade your ticket, please contact the ticket office on 0845 337 1875 at least 48 hours before the match date.
Do you provide seats for Wheelchair Users?
Those wishing to purchase or enquire about tickets for disabled people and their cares should contact the ticket office on 0845 337 1875, between the hours of Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm where further information and help will be available. The Disabled person would pay the full price for their tickets but their registered carer is half price.
Do children need tickets?
All children over the age of two (2) years (as of match day) will be required to have a valid U19 match-day ticket so as to attend the match-day. Children under two (2) years will be admitted free of charge as long as they remain seated on their parent or guardian’s lap.
I have moved and would like to update my address details, how do I do this?
If you have purchased your tickets online, you can do this yourself by logging into your account and clicking the ‘My Account’ link. Here you can amend all your personal details. Please note as we use an address verification service the address provided MUST MATCH the address to where your credit/debit card is registered otherwise your tickets may be cancelled.
I am unable to log on to my online account. What should I do?
It may be because you have an old or different email address to the one registered on our system. If you have a new email address and wish to change it, please email email@example.com. If you can’t remember your password, please use the ‘Forgotten your Password’ link which can be found underneath the login button. If you are trying to activate your account but are unable to because the system is saying that the account has already been activated, please follow the ‘Forgotten your Password’ link. If problems still persist please contact the Ticket Office.
Can my tickets be delivered to an alternative address?
Tickets bought over the phone maybe sent to an alternative address as long as the purchaser address matches the card holder details.
What is the maximum number of tickets I can purchase?
There is no limit on the number of tickets purchased in one transaction.
