Second XI Friendly: Somerset v Gloucestershire - Match Abandoned
Following overnight rain no play will be possible on the final day of this Second XI match between Somerset and Gloucestershire.
Somerset resumed on 68 for two on day two of this three-day match against Gloucestershire at Taunton Vale Sports Club.
The score had moved to 83 when Roelof van der Merwe was dismissed for five and when Fin Trenouth departed for 36 Somerset were 105 for four.
Tom Banton made 21 and Josh Davey made four but Louie Shaw and Fionn Hand ensured that Somerset reached lunch on 191 for six.
Unfortunately heavy rain caused an early close without any further play possible.

Somerset Second XI began their final game of the season this morning when we host Gloucestershire in a three-day contest at Taunton Vale Sports Club.
Somerset won the toss and elected to field.
Paul van Meekeren made an early breakthrough when he bowled Will Tavare for one with just three runs on the board.
Dylan Caddy then removed Ian Cockbain to leave the visitors on 20 for two. Josh Davey and Richard Edwards also claimed a wicket each before lunch but 66 not out from Benny Howell ensured that Gloucestershire reached the break at 119 for four.
Howell went on to make 101 but he received little support and his side were eventually dismissed for 189.
Paul van Meekeren was the pick of the bowlers and took five for 50 from 14 overs.
In reply Ben Green and Tim Rouse put on 41 for the opening wicket. Rouse was the man to go for 20 whilst Green went on to make 31 before being dismissed.
By the close of play Fin Trenouth and Roelof van der Merwe had moved the score to 68 for two.
