Devon 2014 – 2019.
Ben progressed through the Devon age groups and was part of the Somerset Academy.
He made his Somerset 2nd XI debut in 2014.
England U19s 2014 -17.
Somerset T20 debut 2016.
Somerset Championship and List ‘A’ debuts 2018.
Ben scored his maiden first class half century when he replaced George Bartlett (concussion) in the second innings of the Bob Willis Trophy match versus Glamorgan in 2020.
Ben was appointed Captain of the RLODC team in 2021.
Last season he scored a brilliant career best 157 against Durham in the RLC but it narrowly failed to see Somerset to victory. He also took 24 wickets in the T20 Blast including 5 for 29 versus Glamorgan at Taunton.
Ben’s One Day form resulted in him being awarded the White Ball Player of 2022.
He has signed a contract extension to stay at Somerset until the end of the 2024 season.
