Somerset County Cricket Club are pleased to announce details of a number of events that are set to take place in 2022.
Membership Open Day
On Thursday January 20th, Somerset County Cricket Club will be hosting a special Membership open day.
This free event will showcase everything that Somerset County Cricket Club has to offer.
You will get the chance to:
- Watch players train with live commentary from the Club’s coaching staff
- Q&As with players and staff
- Enjoy a behind the scenes tour of the Cooper Associates County Ground
- Sample our new catering offerings
- Renew or purchase your Membership in person
Whilst priority to this exclusive event will be given to SCCC Members, non-Members are also welcome to attend.

Marcus Trescothick Pavilion Official Opening
On Friday February 4th, Marcus Trescothick will be officially opening the pavilion that bears his name.
Over the course of the winter, the building will be redecorated and revamped to reflect the outstanding contribution that Marcus made to the game during his long and illustrious career.
The event will include:
- The official opening of the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion
- A Q&A with Marcus Trescothick
- A comprehensive tour of the new-look building
This free event will be exclusively open to those Members who donated their 2020 Membership.
Those Members who are eligible for this event will be notified in the New Year.
Marcus Trescothick Dinner
To put it simply, Marcus Trescothick is one of the greatest cricketers that this country has ever produced.
Join the Somerset legend in the 1875 Club at 7pm for a special dinner that is being held in his honour on Friday February 4th.
This Marcus Trescothick dinner costs just £90 (inc. VAT) per person and will consist of:
- Welcome drink on arrival
- Outstanding three-course meal
- Extensive Q&A with Marcus
