Live Updates:

20:39: Following an error in the production of the Duckworth Lewis calculation, the wrong information was shown on the scoreboards. Under the ECB regulations, the match was awarded to Yorkshire who won by 3 runs (D/L). Whilst this is a disappointing end to what was a good contest, we wish Yorkshire all the best in the upcoming final this week.

18:23: The issue was the changing of the DLS par score during the run chase. Initially Yorkshire were ahead by 3 runs until further DLS calculations were taken place due to the reduction of overs to 47 per side.

18:22: The match has been abandoned at the CACG but the ECB have decreed the Yorkshire have won by 3 runs (DLS)

18:10: The umpires have had a look and a call of “It’s wet” comes over the radio in the scorers room.

17:51: Still nothing to report, it is looking increasingly likely that there will be no more cricket at the CACG today

17:27: While we wait for news from the umpires, let’s take a look at a very classy fifty from Eddie Byrom earlier. He hit 51 from just 40 balls

17:23 – UPDATE: Still raining at the CACG although it is a little brighter. The cut off time is around 19:15 so still possible to get back on but the covers remain firmly on for now.

17:03: UPDATE: Recalculations have been made by the scorers given it is a 47 over match, not a 50. The result of which puts Somerset 3 AHEAD of DLS and not 3 behind!

16:45: Unfortunately the players come off. We have had 10 overs so there will be a result. Yorkshire are 3 ahead on DLS as it stands

16:44: Raining pretty heavily now. Yorkshire going ok at 74/1 from 12

16:21: It’s a wicket for Jim Allenby, trapping the Yorkshire opener LBW. The visitors are 25/1 and it has started raining at the CACG. Very gloomy also

15:58: Watch highlights of Jim Allenby’s century below

15:57: Paul van Meekeren to bowl the first over and we are all set at the CACG for the resumption

15:26: Tim Rouse falls to the final ball of the innings for 64. Somerset end on 328 all out from their 47 overs.

15:21: Paul van Meekeren is bowled for 2 and Somerset are 317/9 with one over to go. A challenging target has certainly been put on the board by the home side

15:12: Great 50 for Tim Rouse, who continues his fine form this week. Ben Green is then caught at third man attempting a big hit into the legside. Somerset 311/8 from 44.2 overs.

15:01: Leask is caught at deep mid-wicket for 14. Somerset 293/7 from 42.1 overs

15:00: 50 partnership between Rouse and Leask from 33 deliveries. Somerset 293/6

14:41: Allenby is caught at long-on for 101 – great knock from him. Somerset 244/6 from 37 overs. The match is 47 overs per side due to earlier rain

14:32: Great hundred for Jim Allenby from just 90 balls

14:31: Allenby onto 99* with a savage cut to the boundary

14:26: Ryan Davies steps across his stumps and is LBW for 4. Somerset 219/5 from 33 overs.

14:19: Bryom is out for 51, caught behind after getting a tickle on an attempted ramp shot. Ryan Davies the new man and Somerset 207/4 from 32 overs

14:15: 50 for Eddie Byrom from just 39 balls. He has all the shots that’s for sure

14:11: Byrom is looking very classy out there today and moves to 45*. Jim Allenby has also looked in no trouble at all and has 78*. Somerset 195/3 after 30 overs

13:59: Eddie Byrom hits a short ball from the left-arm seamer into the flats! Great shot and that is the 50 partnership from 40 balls.

13:55: Allenby and Byrom building a lovely partnership here as Somerset look to post a big score first up. Allenby is on to 71* including this reverse-hit for 6!

13:36: Another wicket for Yorkshire as Hose sweeps the spin of Fisher to short fine-leg. Somerset 114/3 with Eddie Byrom the new man

13:33: Couple of wickets for Yorkshire as Myburgh and Bartlett both chip to cover. Jim Allenby has 50 from 52 balls and Adam Hose 19 from 28 as Somerset reach 114/2

12:43: Great start for Somerset as Allenby and Myburgh see up 50 from 7 overs

12:16: Jim Allenby and Johann Myburgh are in the middle and we are all set at the CACG

12:07: Yorkshire win the toss and elect to bowl first. The match will be 47 overs per side

11:43: The covers are coming off and we will start at 12:15 if no further rain

11:09: Unfortunately no news to bring you as the rain has returned here in Taunton.

10:49: The players are back out and warming up but we have still not had a toss and the covers remain on

10:38: The umpires are having a look and the rain has stopped, covers are still on though

10:15: Unfortunately it has stared to rain here and the covers are coming on

09:55: Both sets of players are warming up currently ahead of an 11am start here in Taunton. The toss will take place at 10:30am
