Annual Children's Ward Visit

Several members of our First XI squad and Stumpy made the short trip to Musgrove Park Hospital this week to visit the children in Acorn and Oak Wards.

The Somerset players visit the Children’s Wards at the hospital every Christmas to meet the children and deliver presents.

Craig Overton, Dom Bess, Jack Brooks, Jamie Overton, Josh Davey, Ben Green, Ollie Sale and Head Coach Jason Kerr were given a tour of the wards and took time to speak with the patients and their parents in order to help spread a little festive cheer.

Play Specialist at Musgrove Park, Suzanne Heayns said: “The visit went brilliantly. It means so much to us, the patients and their parents. Bringing so many gifts and Stumpy as well puts smiles on faces. It’s a busy time of year for us and it’s lovely that the Club support us.”
