Changes to parking at the Cooper Associates County Ground
Premier Parking Solutions Ltd (PPS), a dedicated parking management company, will be installing new pay & display and camera monitoring equipment at the Cooper Associates County Ground with effect from February 1st.
PPS will now be controlling the parking within the Club car parks and enforcing action against vehicles that do not comply with the advertised terms and conditions by means of issuing a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). This will be by way of uniformed attendants or by post via an automatic number plate recognition system (ANPR). Attendants will also check that vehicles are not causing an obstruction, taking up two bays or abusing the disabled spaces etc. PPS will ensure that all vehicles are authorised to park by having either paid and displayed, or by displaying a valid permit.
Details of all charges will be clearly displayed on PPS signage and the car parks will be patrolled regularly, at random times, day and night, seven days per week.
Anyone visiting the Club, Somerset County Sports or the Somerset Cricket Museum on official business must report to Reception in either the Andrew Caddick Pavilion or Centre of Excellence and obtain a temporary pass and ensure that their number plate has been entered on the system to avoid receiving a parking fine.
There will be a 15-minute grace period to allow for drop-offs and pick-ups on site.
Parking is currently still free after 6pm and on Sundays.
