From Monday May 17th, The Cooper Associates County Ground will be back open for your business.
Our conferencing, events and meeting spaces are now available for booking and our friendly team are looking forward to welcoming you back to the ground.
Before June 21st
Up until June 21st we can offer:
- Private hospitality suites for up to eight delegates which can be used for small meetings or break-out rooms.
- Our superb 1875 Club facility for large meetings or conferences for up to 40 delegates.
The venue is proud to have been awarded “Good To Go” status, which is a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark that confirms that Somerset County Cricket Club adheres to Government and public health guidance. It also ensures that we are adhering to the UK Government’s COVID-19 reopening guidance, understand the guidance from Public Health England and have completed an extensive COVID-19 Risk Assessment in order to attain the ‘Good To Go’ stamp.
The Cooper Associates County Ground is the premier venue in the County for conferences and events and strict safety measures that adhere fully to the Government’s guidelines are in place because your wellbeing remains our number one priority.
After June 21st
The Cooper Associates County Ground is the perfect venue at which to hold your event, and from June 21st our facilities will once again be fully open to host your conference, meeting, dinner, ball or training event.
Our friendly team are more than happy to discuss all of your requirements and can help you to plan from start to finish.
We take huge pride in being able to offer venue hire with superb facilities that can be tailored to suit your requirements for all manner of events.

Somerset County Cricket Club are committed to providing our visitors with a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. We have been working with the local authority and a number of key stakeholders in order to create and implement venue operation plans and COVID-19 stadium risk assessments which are specifically designed to minimise any possible risk to the public.
In addition to this our staff will be doing everything that they can to ensure the safety of our visitors, such as wearing PPE and implementing additional cleaning measures throughout the Ground. All our staff have also received appropriate training in relation to COVID-19 and its associated risks. These protocols are designed to ensure that the Cooper Associates County Ground is as safe as it possibly can be.Back to News
