"Demon of Frome" Reflects on Glory Years
Colin Dredge was an integral element of the Somerset Glory Years.
The bowler, known as “The Demon of Frome”, played 194 First Class matches for the County between 1976 and 1988, taking 443 wickets. He also featured in 209 List A matches, claiming 253 wickets at an average of 25.42.
He was awarded his Somerset Cap in 1978 and was granted a Benefit Season in 1987.
