Dirty Dog enjoy their day in the spotlight
Dirty Dog are the Sunglasses Partner of Somerset County Cricket Club and they combine integrated design, superior materials and ergonomic engineering in order to deliver eyewear that is unrivalled in performance and innovation.
On Friday August 30th, Dirty Dog enjoyed what turned out to be an explosive Vitality Blast fixture at the Cooper Associates County Ground as our Matchday Sponsors.
After the game we caught up with Mark Norman, National Sales Manager at Dirty Dog Eyewear, to hear how they enjoyed their day in the spotlight at which he was presented with a signed shirt by Somerset’s Jack Brooks.
“Following our match day sponsorship of the recent Vitality Blast game against Middlesex, I wanted to say a massive thank you to Suzanne and her team. It was an incredible experience for myself and our guests which would not have been possible without the service and welcome we received. On arrival we were greeted personally and welcomed to our table with a glass of fizzy, which is always a good start to an evening!
“Some highlights from a company perspective were having our brand logo visible on the big screens as everyone arrived. This was a great option and really showcased the partnership between the brand and Club. As it was the final game of the Vitality Blast it was a crucial game which also had Sky Sports coverage. This was an incredible opportunity for a brand of our size to receive this level of visibility.
“We also worked closely to offer some specific competitions through which spectators could win one of four pairs of sunglasses. Over the last couple of seasons we have seen a few local businesses contact us with regard to stocking our products. Having the brand logo visible on the LED boards at every game has certainly raised awareness in the brand which is now converting to actual sales.
“From a personal point of view it was my birthday and an announcement was made during the interview with Jack Leach which was a special moment for me. More importantly than this, Suzanne personally arranged for sausage and chips to be delivered to my nine-year-old son at our table! He is not a fan of Chinese food which is what was served on the night and this gesture was warmly received by the guests and certainly my son who always enjoys this treat when watching the cricket.
“Overall my guests, who included local retailers and competition winners, commented that it was one of the best evenings they had ever experienced. I can honestly say I would have no hesitation in recommending this option for any corporate or personal hospitality.
“Thank you again to Suzanne and her team who made this all possible – incredible service!”
