VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Ahead of the match, Anya Shrubsole said: “The win at Bristol was a really good way to start the ODI part of the series. It was a good clinical performance. We bowled well as a group and the way that Tammy and Nat batted was nice to watch. It’s set things up nicely as we head to Taunton.

“Somerset is where I’ve played a lot of cricket and I’ve spent a huge amount of my life down at Taunton. It’s always lovely to come back and play there. It’s a great ground and a great place to play cricket. Having supporters back in the ground has made such a difference already. It’s one of the reasons that you want to play the game. You want to be playing in front of fans.

“India are a world class team, there’s no doubt about that. They will be wanting to put a few things right and we have to be prepared for that. The first game was pretty close to being a perfect game for us, so if we can perform like that on Wednesday we will be a good position.”
