Getting to know you: Sam Safe

Throughout the year we will be introducing you to the members of the Somerset CCC Team as well as meeting some of our Official Partners.

Today it’s the turn of Sam Safe, SCCC’s Catering General Manager, to answer our quickfire questions.

Job title? Catering General manager

What exactly is it that you do?  I am responsible for the planning, organising and developing the food and beverage services of the organisations including multiple outlets on match days, whilst meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets.

Favourite part of a matchday? Cashing up!

Best part of the job? Customer satisfaction

Favourite sports person? Mo Farah

Who would you most like to have dinner with past or present? Gary Barlow

What’s the best thing you’ve ever done? Raised £50,000 for The Anthony Nolan Charity

Favourite place to eat? Home (I’m married to a chef)

Favourite pub? The firehouse, Curry Rivel
