The ICC Nissan Trophy Tour begins in Taunton in one week

There’s just one week to go until the ICC Nissan Trophy Tour starts in Taunton!

For the first time ever, the ICC Champions Trophy and ICC Women’s World Cup will tour together ahead of this summer’s tournaments.

They will visit each of the seven host venues during May, stopping of at clubs, schools and iconic locations to allow as many fans as possible to see the trophies during the build up to the tournaments.

The trophies will be at the Cooper Associates County Ground for our Royal London One-Day Cup match against Kent on Tuesday May 2nd and from 1pm the trophies will be taken to Selworthy School and Lyngford Primary School for specially arranged assemblies.

Ahead of our match against Kent, Holy Trinity Primary School will take part in a special assembly with the trophies before enjoying a coaching session and then acting as Guard of Honour for the match.

As well as allowing fans to get close to the two trophies, the tour will also celebrate local heroes and help them to become champions!  People can nominate anyone they think deserves to be recognised for their contribution to cricket and the wider community.

To nominate your local hero and help them become a champion just click here.

By nominating your hero you could both win tickets to ICC Champions Trophy or ICC Women’s World Cup matches.
