JOB VACANCY: ASSISTANT PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Somerset County Cricket Club is situated in the historical town of Taunton. SCCC is a highly successful and varied sporting organisation that hosts almost 50 days of First-Class cricket, numerous Conferences and Events throughout the year as well as playing an important role in the local community. We have 6,500 Members and crowds of 7,500 supporters for some matches.
Somerset CCC is one of the 18 first class counties within the domestic cricket structure. We have a strong club ethos that promotes family values along with commitment and respect to the Club and community. The Club has a history of developing and promoting home grown talent, with many of our current senior and academy squad achieving international recognition.
The Club recently won the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2019 and are looking to compete in every format of domestic cricket, requiring a strong and robust squad. The Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and have a positive attitude. They will have an ability to work both individually and as part of a team. They should have good communication skills to work with a variety of individuals ranging from coaches, sports science and medicine colleagues and professional/Academy athletes. This role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate diligence and attention to detail with regard to planning and record keeping and be able to make effective use of their time within a pressurised environment.
What We Offer
- Salary Circa £22,500 pa
- Full time summer (March 30th – September 30th)
- Part time winter (October 1st – March 29th) – (2 1/2 days per week)
- Allocation of hours will be flexible to suit the needs of the playing and training schedule
- 24 days holiday pro-rata (plus a pro-rate equivalent to the relevant public holidays)
- Pension Contribution (subject to qualification)
- 2 x Club & T20 Membership for use by families and friends during the Season
- Free Car Parking onsite when appropriate
