LBW Club Members enjoy special day at the cricket

Somerset County Cricket Club held the latest event for our LBW Club Members on day two of our recent Specsavers County Championship match against Yorkshire at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

LBW Club Members alongside a number of our main partners were invited to attend a exclusive barbecue on our stunning Thatchers Terrace.

The event also included a special networking session and gave those in attendance the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of cricket whilst enjoying a barbecue lunch from behind the bowler’s arm!

Thatchers Cider kindly provided the welcome drinks and those present were joined by members the 2019 KIA Super League winning Western Storm. Head Coach Trevor Griffin, General Manager Lisa Pagett and batter Sophie Luff brought the KSL trophy with them and gave attendees the chance to have their photo taken with the silverware.

Somerset batted throughout the afternoon as Tom Abell and James Hildreth entertained the crowd with half centuries that would eventually prove to be vital in securing a Somerset victory.

The event was hosted by the SCCC Commercial Sales Team and gave the Club the opportunity to thank our LBW Club Members and our partners for their support throughout the hugely successful 2019 season.

Our next LBW Club event will be a General Knowledge Quiz (date to be confirmed).
