VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Ahead of the match, Jason said: “We had a break last week, so the guys are all refreshed and they’re extremely excited by the prospect of playing in front of our Members. We will get a huge buzz from that. You can feel the anticipation around the place ahead of tomorrow and that’s really exciting. To play in front of such a passionate and knowledgeable crowd is something that we have missed so much. Crowds make a huge difference and we never take the support that we get for granted.
“Hampshire are a really good side. We had a comprehensive win there and they will be hurting from that. I’m looking forward to four days of good cricket.
“We’re without Jack and Craig but that gives others the opportunity to show what they can do. There is strength in depth in the squad and that’s really exciting.
“We’ve got three games left and the way that the table is looking at the moment, it looks like it’s going to go down to the last game.”
