Can I buy food and drink at the Cooper Associates County Ground?

Yes. A wide selection of hot and cold food and drinks will be available from the following outlets:

  • Stragglers Coffee House
  • Terrace Concession (Marcus Trescothick Pavilion Upper Tier)
  • Somerset Bar (Somerset Stand Block 1)
  • The Great Catch Fish & Chip Bar (Lord Botham Stand)
  • Botham Bar (Lord Botham Stand)

What kind of food will be on offer?

Each concession is fully stocked with range of hot and cold options to suit all tastes.

Will Stragglers Coffee House be open?

Yes. However, Stragglers will be operating a “grab & go” offering and therefore there will be no seating available. Stragglers will be selling a selection of hot rolls, sandwiches, a wrapped bakery and much more. There will also be the usual wide selection of hot and cold drinks.

What’s new?

We are pleased to be able to announce that we have teamed up with Tom’s Pies for the 2021 season. Their award-winning pies and savoury tarts are handmade in Devon using only the finest, freshest farm-assured ingredients. Every Tom’s Pie is made by hand using sustainably sourced ingredients and features delicious buttery shortcrust pastry. They also provide a superb vegetarian option.

Filberts Fine Foods are SCCC’s Official Snack Partner for 2021, and this partnership will see the West Country-based company provide the Club with a wide selection of healthy and delicious snacks throughout the year, including gourmet nuts and special snack boxes which consist of a variety of their outstanding artisan foods.

Is there a gluten-free offering?

Yes. We are delighted to be able to announce that the fish and chips from the Great Catch will be gluten-free. If you have any dietary requirements, please do speak to our friendly and helpful staff, who will be happy to advise you.

Will it be safe?

To ensure the safety and well-being of our Members, there will be a number of new procedures in place, such as one-way systems, socially distanced queueing and cashless payments. Our catering staff will also be required to wear PPE and carry out regular hand hygiene protocols.

Can Members bring their own food?

Yes. Members are welcome to bring their own food on a matchday. Members are reminded that they may not bring alcohol to Vitality Blast matches.

Can I pay with cash?

No. The Cooper Associates County Ground is now a cashless venue. There are a number of reasons behind this decision, which are explained in depth here.
