Meet some of our 2022 LBW Club Members

The LBW Club was designed by Somerset County Cricket Club to bring like-minded people from a variety of local companies together through the business of sport.

Since its introduction, the LBW Club has been a huge success in enabling local businesses to meet, discuss ideas and make new connections.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to some of our LBW Club Members and tell you a little bit about who they are and what they do.

BPM Contracting Services

Managing Director, Chris Kille explains why he has purchased LBW Club Membership for 2022: “I am a lifelong Somerset supporter and was brought up on Exmoor before moving to London and now Bath.

BPM Contracting Services is a building maintenance company based in Bath but covering much of the South and South West of England. As we have grown we have found it really valuable to link our business interests with our sporting passion.

“With that in mind, we attended the Somerset County Cricket Club open day on Tuesday 9th November. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived James Voisey and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We started with a glass of Prosecco and a chat with some of the other attendees. This was followed by a presentation of the opportunities that are being offered and the ways that the Club and local businesses can work together.

“Following the presentation, food was served which consisted of small samples of the typical meals available at the Club, which were delicious. Even at this short event we met a number of really good local businesses that we will link up with. We finished with a tour of the ground and it was a really enjoyable afternoon.

“Following the open day we have taken Premium Membership of the LBW Club.

“We felt that the ability to use the excellent Members facilities with access to all County Championship and group stage Royal London and T20 games, as well as business events and networking, would give us an excellent ‘quality of life’ linking our business interests with our sporting ones.

“It is our intention to make the best possible use of the networking events and to provide opportunities for members of our staff who are supporters to attend games with the use of the Members facilities. There will be days when I bring my laptop and work in the amazing setting whilst taking in a game.”
