Membership Mailing: An Apology
Further to our recent communication with regards to the Membership Donation and Refund process, I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the delay some Members have experienced in receiving their letter from me.
It has become clear that the letters have not arrived on schedule, with some still being delivered one week after they had been posted. Whilst COVID-19 has affected a multitude of services, many of which are out of our direct control, I can only apologise that they have been, and continue to be, received so late in the day.
The biggest impact of these forms landing later than intended was on the Members Forum I hosted on Thursday evening, July 30th. An FAQ’s document has been drawn up answering the questions that were asked on the night and subsequently, is available below for those who missed the Forum. If you would be interested in attending another Members Q&A Session, please mark your interest by filling in this form here. We will be in direct contact with you to confirm a date and time for later this month.
Please do rest assured that I am investigating the issues experienced with mailings, working with both our data warehouse and mailing partner to pinpoint where breakdowns may be occurring.
Once again, please do accept my apologies for the delay and thank you to those who have responded to us thus far. Your support is very much appreciated by everyone involved at Somerset County Cricket Club.
