New SCCC Shop now open!

The new SCCC Shop is now open!

The shop was officially opened last night by the Mayor of Taunton Deane, Councillor Catherine Herbert at a special launch event.

The event was also attended by Somerset County Cricket Club CEO Andrew Cornish, Director of Cricket Andy Hurry, Head Coach Jason Kerr, representatives of Somerset’s main partners plus invited guests and members of the press.

Somerset players, including Marcus Trescothick and James Hildreth, were also present to help launch the new Legends range of clothing that will be stocked in the new shop.

After the event, Mr Cornish said: “It was nice to see so many people here tonight. This is a new venture for the Club and one that I am sure will be popular. The shop will be stocking high quality clothing as well as everything else you could possibly need. From a sweater to a fridge magnet, the shop will have it covered!”

“To see the shop finally open is a real boost for us because a tremendous amount of work by a small team of highly dedicated members of staff has gone in to ensuring that this idea has become a reality.

“Everyone involved with getting the shop up and running deserves a huge amount of credit and I’m sure that their hard work will result in this venture being a real success.”

Located on the corner of the Ondaatje Pavilion, in the St James Street side of the Cooper Associates County Ground, the Shop is selling a wide selection of branded SCCC leisurewear alongside a varied range of other merchandise just in time for Christmas.

The SCCC Shop will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

2019 SCCC Members will receive 10% off their final transaction.

Somerset County Sports, which is located in front of the Somerset Cricket Museum, will continue to sell cricket equipment and replica clothing from their premises.
