Q&A AND 1982 B&H CUP FINAL WATCHALONG

Somerset County Cricket Club would like to invite supporters to our latest exclusive online event later this month.

Everyone is invited to join us on Thursday January 27th at 7pm to re-live the 1982 Benson & Hedges Cup final victory over Nottinghamshire.

Using footage recently obtained directly from the BBC archive, you can enjoy one of the most famous days in the Club’s history.

The event will also feature a Q&A with CEO Gordon Hollins.

The watchalong will utilise a previously unseen digitised version of the BBC highlights package that aired on that fantastic day back in 1982.

It will also feature expert analysis from Somerset legends Vic Marks and Nigel Popplewell, who join highly regarded journalist Richard Walsh to comment on the footage.

This special show will be broadcast on the Club’s YouTube channel.

Throughout the broadcast, which will be available to watch on all devices including TV’s, the YouTube chat function will be open so that viewers can comment and share their memories.

We look forward to seeing you all for the watchalong on the 27th.

If you can’t attend the live, it will be available on catch up immediately after the event on our YouTube channel.

If you have a question that you would like answered on the night, please email enquiries@somersetcountycc.co.uk before 12pm on Thursday January 27th.
