Rahul Dravid looks back on his record breaking day at Taunton

One of the finest players to ever grace the game of cricket was at the Cooper Associates County Ground recently.

Rahul Dravid was in Taunton in his role as Coach of India A, but it certainly wasn’t his first visit to Somerset.

During the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup, Dravid was part of the India team that posted a huge total at the venue against Sri Lanka.

Dravid helped himself to 145 and Sourav Ganguly made 183 as the pair added 318 for the second wicket. India finished on, what was at the time, a mammoth 373 for six from their 50 overs. They went on to win the match by 157 runs, but does he remember much about the match?
