SCCC and SCS Partnership going strong!
Earlier this month, Somerset County Cricket Club announced that one of our most valued and long-standing business relationships will be continuing after Somerset County Sports signed a new two-year Official Partnership agreement.
The 14-year relationship between the two organisations began back in 2005 and this new deal will see the relationship between SCCC and SCS go from strength to strength.
As part of the agreement the SCCC shop is Somerset County Cricket Club’s Official Merchandise Store and will be selling the Official SCCC 2020 season playing shirts. The outlet will also be the exclusive SCCC Training Wear Range stockist. In addition to this, the SCCC Shop sells a wide selection of branded SCCC leisurewear alongside a varied range of other merchandise.
SCS remain as an Official Partner Sponsor and an Official Stockist of SCCC playing shirts, whilst they now also become the exclusive Official Stockist of SCCC Age Group kit for the Somerset Player Pathway. They operate from their premises at the Cooper Associates County Ground and will continue to sell a wide range of sporting equipment and leisurewear.
The SCS logo will also continue to feature on the Club’s Vitality Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup shirts.
SCCC Commercial Sales Director, Suzanne Roper said: “Over the last 14 years Somerset County Cricket Club and Somerset County Sports have developed an outstanding rapport. It’s a highly significant partnership that we value immensely, and we very much consider James Brice and his team to be a part of the SCCC family.
“Somerset County Sports do a huge amount to support and promote cricket from grassroots level right the way up to the professional First Class game. Their enthusiasm for the sport is clear for everyone to see and we are delighted that we will be working together at what is an extremely exciting time for the Club.”
Managing Director of Somerset County Sports, James Brice said: “We are pleased to be continuing our long-standing relationship with Somerset County Cricket Club. For over a decade we have worked closely together, and during that time we have developed a strong, mutually beneficial working partnership and have shared in the Club’s on-field successes.
“We are looking forward to the next two years and we hope that the Club can build on the achievements of 2019.”Back to News
