Nuffield Health will once again be helping to ensure that Somerset County Cricket Club’s players are at the peak of their powers in 2022 after the two organisations signed a renewal of their existing partnership.
Nuffield Health is one of the leading not-for-profit UK healthcare organisations with a network of hospitals, medical clinics, fitness & wellbeing clubs and diagnostic units across the UK. In addition to this they also offer access to the largest network of physiotherapists outside of the NHS, and their activities are focused on improving health and wellbeing across the spectrum from prevention through to cure.
Once again, Nuffield Health, who have a hospital in Staplegrove and a gym situated in the centre of Taunton, will continue to operate as an Official Club Partner and Sponsor. They will also remain as SCCC’s Official Hospital & Gym Partner, working closely with our Strength & Conditioning and Science & Medicine teams..
In addition, their logo will continue to feature on the SCCC training kit.
Mark Enticknap, Hospital Director at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital, added: “We are delighted to support SCCC and we wish them a successful season. Nuffield Health provides connected, personalised health and wellbeing care through our hospital, fitness and mental wellbeing services. All sportsmen and women know, amateur or professional, that when you get injured, you need a clear diagnosis and an immediate treatment plan to get you on the road to recovery.”
SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert added: “As a professional sports club, health and wellbeing are at the very forefront of everything that we are trying to achieve on and off the field of play, and therefore our strong and mutually beneficial relationship with Nuffield Health is crucial.
“Our players and coaching staff have always been indebted to Nuffield Health for the access that they are granted to their excellent facilities, and therefore we couldn’t be more pleased that this outstanding relationship is continuing.”Back to News
