Somerset CCC Announce Official Snack Partner
With breaks for lunch and tea, food is something that has become almost synonymous with cricket.
With this in mind, Somerset County Cricket Club are pleased to announce that Filbert’s Fine Foods have become our Official Snack Partner for the 2021 season.
This partnership will see the West Country-based company provide the Club with a wide selection of healthy and delicious snacks throughout the year.
As the fastest growing snack brand in the UK, Filberts Fine Foods has developed a well-deserved reputation for delicious, fusion, artisan snacks that have attracted plenty of plaudits. They have won over 40 awards for taste, flavour, and presentation.
With over a decade in the industry, this is not Filbert’s Fine Foods first foray into sport as they were selected to supply the London 2012 Olympic games with healthy snacks.
Regarding the new Partnership, SCCC Head of Strength & Conditioning, Joel Tratt said: ‘It’s great to be working with Filbert’s Fine foods. They will provide us with quality products which will keep the boys going during games. Not only do they fit our nutritional needs, they also taste great and are a top drawer snack. It’s going to be awesome having their food available to us throughout the season and I know they’ll have a positive impact on the team.”
