Somerset to continue live streaming service in 2018
Somerset County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that the Club’s innovative partnership with Bristol-based technology company MyActionReplay is set to continue in 2018.
Part of this agreement will include the continuation of Somerset’s live streaming service.
After a successful trial period in 2017, the Club will actively look to stream all non-televised Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup home fixtures in 2018.
The stream will be have the following features:
– Available to ALL Somerset fans
– FREE of charge to ALL Somerset fans
– Streamed via the SCCC website
– Available to watch on PC, Mobile, Tablet and Games Consoles
– Overlay graphic displaying all key information such as the score and batsman totals
– Pause and rewind function
– NEW FOR 2018: Live BBC Commentary synced to the action on field
Also included in the partnership is the retention of the short highlights clips that are posted on the Club’s Match Centre and social media platforms.
These clips were again hugely popular in 2017 with the Club achieving 8.5 million video views across it’s digital channels in 2017.
