Tom Lammonby Continues Fine Run of form down under!
Tom Lammonby has impressed yet again out in Western Australia where he is spending the winter playing First Grade cricket for Perth based side Rockingham-Mandurah.
On the first day of the away match against Willetton, Tom batted for almost three and a half hours, facing 159 balls for his 71 runs, including six fours.
During his time at the crease, Tom took control of a number of key partnerships before he was the fifth wicket to fall, by which time he had helped to score to 198. Rockingham were eventually all out for 244 if 86.2 overs.
The Willetton openers survived the one over that remained to be bowled without scoring a run and will resume their innings next Saturday.
Tom, who was named as the Young Player of the Year at the SCCC End of Season Awards is the top run scorer for Rockingham having scored 240 runs to date in the four innings that he has played, with a best of 107 – the only century for the team to date.Back to News
