Salary: £25,000 to £26,300

We are in a strong position to grow and achieve our ambitious goals which have ‘cricket at the heart and business on the mind’.
Somerset County Cricket Club are recruiting for a Commercial Accounts Executive with responsibility for the management of all SCCC’s and the ECB’s sponsorship partners. The successful applicant will need to ensure timely delivery of our partners’ sponsorship rights and demonstrate the positive impact of their partnership with us on their business. Simultaneously, you will cultivate existing relationships and identify new partners which will result in increased revenue spend with Somerset County Cricket Club/Cooper Associates County Ground. The role has wide-focus including management of brand delivery and activation for sponsors on match days, researching and identifying ways to deliver value to our partners, sourcing ways of driving revenue both within and outside of the sports sector, creating award-winning campaigns and monitoring the impact of our partnerships. To excel in this role the ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Extensive, demonstrable experience working within the Sports or Entertainment and Media Partnerships Industry
- University degree, or equivalent qualification, in a related field.
- Strong track-record of partnerships/new business in sports, entertainment and media.
- Strong written and oral skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to help drive alignment among various stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and sports, entertainment and media industry trends.
- Strong presentation skills.
- The ability to create sales presentations/material/collateral.
- Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Experience running reports and exporting data from various platforms.
- Conversant with google, twitter, Facebook, Instagram, you tube analytics
- CIM Diploma in Marketing
- CIM Key Account Management
