Vote for your Western Storm Player of the Season
After winning the Kia Super League this summer, it’s time for Western Storm supporters to vote for their 2017 player of the year!
This will be awarded at the Somerset County Cricket Club End of Season Dinner on September 29th.

The West Indies Captain had another impressive tournament scoring 113 runs at an average of 28.25. She also topped the Storm’s bowling averages after taking nine wickets at an average of 11.66 with a best of four for five.
Claire impressed with the ball in her first season with the Storm claiming eight wickets at an average of just 15.75 with a best of three for 20.
The New Zealander had a tournament to remember in 2017. She scored 261 runs at an average of 43.50 with a strike rate of 164.15. Her top score this season was 106 not out and she was awarded Player of the Match in the final against Southern Vipers.
Local favourite Sophie Luff was a key element of the Storm’s success in 2017 with her runs lower down the order proving to be absolutely vital. She scored 84 runs at an average of 28 with a strike rate of 96.55.
2017 was another good year for the 21 year old and she once again took vital wickets for her team. She claimed five important wickets this season with a best of two for 24.
