VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Ahead of the game, Somerset Head Coach, Jason Kerr said: “I thought we were outstanding with the ball against Middlesex last night. We had a bit of a stumble with the bat but Craig Overton gave us that impetus and Josh Davey showed immense composure under pressure to get us over the line.

“It’s a good sign when your winning games without playing at your best. In some respects, the pressure’s off because the first goal was to qualify for the quarter-final and we’ve achieved that. They guys can now go out there tomorrow and really express themselves.

“The aim is to get a home quarter-final and hopefully we can do that and experience again what a great occasion that will be at Taunton.”
