TEAM NEWS

Somerset are still without Craig Overton (international duty) and Lewis Gregory (back), but Azhar Ali is available for selection.

Head Coach, Jason Kerr has named the following squad for the match: Tom Abell, Azhar Ali, Tom Banton, George Bartlett, Jack Brooks, Josh Davey, Steve Davies, Lewis Goldsworthy, Ben Green, James Hildreth, Tom Lammonby, Marchant de Lange, Jack Leach and Roelof van der Merwe.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Ahead of the match, Jason Kerr said: “The Notts game was one of the most frustrating and disappointing performances that we’ve seen at Taunton in a number of years. There’s a lot of hurt in the dressing room and the guys have got a point to prove. We need to bounce back and show the levels of skill, determination and commitment that we’ve demonstrated for a long period of time now.

“There will be a lot of people watching at Scarborough, and it’s a surface that often leads to a result. Yorkshire have had a tough four days against Hampshire and we need to take advantage of that.”
