Max joins the PSL
Max Waller will be appearing in this season’s Pakistan Super League.
The Somerset spinner has signed for Quetta Gladiators following an injury to Sunil Narine.
After announcing he had signed, Max said: “Obviously, I’m extremely excited to be out in Dubai joining up with the Quetta Gladiators for the PSL. The opportunity presented itself due to a finger injury to Sunil Narine and I was then picked up as a replacement.
“It is a great opportunity to show what I can do in a really strong competition and I’m really looking forward to it!”
Max will join up with former Somerset teammate Sohail Tanvir at the Gladiators who also boast the likes of Shane Watson, Rilee Rossouw, Dwayne Bravo and Sarfaraz Ahmed within their ranks.
Their first game takes place on Friday against Peshawar Zalmi in Dubai.
The final will be staged in Karachi on March 17th.
