Right-Handed Batsman, Right-Arm Off-Break Bowler
14George Bartlett, who graduated from the Somerset CCC Academy, made his senior debut for the Club during 2017.
The 19 year old right handed batsman, who also bowls off spin, has played through the Somerset age groups and plays his club cricket for Bridgwater CC.
He made his debut for Somerset 2nd XI in 2013 and since then he has gone onto represent England at Under 19 level and last winter he played in the Under 19 World Cup.
In 2016 George scored a century for England Under 19s against Sri Lanka and played for Somerset in the finals of both the 2nd XI T20 and 2nd XI Trophy competitions. George made his Championship debut in the match at Edgbaston against Warwickshire and in his second game against Lancashire at home he hit the winning runs.
This winter George is playing grade cricket out in Australia.

In 2018 George scored 306 runs in his six Championship matches including his maiden century against a strong Lancashire attack at Old Trafford.
