Ollie made his full Somerset debut in July 2016 in the NatWest T20 Blast match against Hampshire, having spent most of the 2016 easing his way back into action after recovering from a serious back injury.

That injury had kept him from bowling for much of the 2015 season, and required surgery to correct.

Ollie is a tall right arm fast bowler who played up through the Devon age groups. He attended Sherborne School and graduated from the Somerset Academy in July 2014.

He was then awarded a Somerset Scholarship and in his nine games during 2016, Ollie took 29 wickets at an average of 24.07 for the Somerset 2nd XI.

Ollie was injured for much of the 2017 campaign and his appearances were limited to the Second XI.

He plays his club cricket for Exeter and is yet to make his First Class debut for Somerset.
